A multi-national management team, led by Buck Randolph and Andy Shorten, have been working on the challenge of making the Archipelago Adventurer II the most reputable and successful liveaboard in Indonesia, for the past three years.
Buck Randolph; General Manager
John Randolph, affectionately known as Buck, is an avid dive instructor, mountaineer and active leader of several international helicopter search and rescue teams. His experience has brought him to many parts of the world helping victims of every type of disastrous occurrence from plane crashes, sinking ships, climbing accidents, mass floods, earthquakes, typhoons, war zones and most recently the Asian Tsunami. John Randolph has based his career around working in the most inaccessible parts of the world and brings some of his real world experience to the team at Archipelago Resorts & Fleet.
Andy Shorten; Business Development Manager
Andy has been living in Bali since 2002 working in the diving industry during this time. His love for the underwater realm has taken him through the range of dive experiences; day trips, extended stays and finally on to his favourite type of experience - liveaboards. Having worked with many vessel operators throughout his time in Bali, witnessing the good and the bad, he has developed an understanding of the level of service and attention to detail required to organise and operate successful cruises. Andy manages the Bali Office working with the rest of the land support team.
Dadang Indradjaja; Vessel Operations Manager
Pak Dadang Indradjaja is Vessel Operations Manager at Archipelago Resorts & Fleet. Pak Dadang has over 20 years experience running a cruise vessel business in Indonesia, he operated the first Indonesian crusing vessel with Spice Island Cruises with the vessel MV Island Explorer. His understanding of the logistical requirements operating a cruise vessel in the more remote areas of East Indonesia is an invaluable asset for Archipelago Fleet |
